A: Yes! All our baby cribs are CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) certified and meet the latest U.S. safety standards for infant furniture. Key safety features include:

  • Sturdy, non-toxic wood construction (no lead-based paints or harmful chemicals).
  • Fixed-side or adjustable-side designs with secure locking mechanisms (prevents accidental collapse).
  • Spacing between slats (2 3/8 inches maximum) to prevent baby’s head from getting stuck.
  • Convertible options that transform from crib to toddler bed to daybed—growing with your child.

We never sell drop-side cribs, which are banned in the U.S. due to safety hazards.

Q2: What is the difference between organic and regular infant mattresses?


A: We offer two types of infant mattresses at frankwilliams Store, both designed for safe, comfortable sleep:

  • Organic Infant Mattresses: Made from 100% organic cotton covers and natural latex cores—free of pesticides, flame retardants, and synthetic materials. Certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and perfect for babies with sensitive skin or allergies.
  • Regular Infant Mattresses: Made from high-quality polyester covers and supportive foam cores—waterproof, stain-resistant, and budget-friendly. Meet all CPSC safety standards and are ideal for everyday use.

Both mattress types are firm (critical for reducing SIDS risk) and fit standard and mini crib sizes.

Q3: What age/weight range are your baby dining chairs suitable for?


A: Our adjustable baby dining chairs are designed for babies 6 months to 3 years old and support weights up to 50 pounds. Key features include:

  • 3-position height adjustment (fits most dining tables).
  • Removable tray with dishwasher-safe insert (easy to clean food spills).
  • 5-point safety harness (prevents baby from slipping out).
  • Foldable design (saves space when not in use).

For babies under 6 months, we recommend waiting until they can sit up unassisted before using a dining chair.

  • Crib Skirts & Sheets: Made from soft, breathable cotton—fitted securely to prevent loose fabric (a suffocation hazard). No frills or long ties.
  • Wall Decals: Removable, non-toxic vinyl—applied outside the crib (never on the inside of crib rails).
  • Nursery Pillows & Plush Toys: Only for decorative use (not for placing in the crib with a sleeping baby—reduces SIDS risk).

We provide safety guidelines with every decoration set to help you create a safe, stylish nursery.

Q5: Do you offer local pickup for your baby products?


A: Yes! You can choose in-store pickup at our South Bend location (56271 BUTTERNUT RD) during checkout to save on shipping costs for heavy items like cribs and dining chairs. We’ll notify you via email when your order is ready (usually 2–3 business days for in-stock items, 2–3 weeks for custom orders).

Pickup hours are Monday–Saturday (9 AM–5 PM ET) and Sunday (12 PM–4 PM ET). Please bring a photo ID and your order confirmation email when you arrive. We also offer free assembly for cribs and dining chairs during pickup—just ask our staff!

Q6: What is the warranty for your baby products?


A: We offer limited warranties to cover manufacturing defects (not normal wear, misuse, or accidental damage) for frankwilliams Store products:

  • Baby Cribs: 5-year warranty (covers slat breakage, frame warping, and hardware failure).
  • Infant Mattresses: 3-year warranty (covers waterproof lining tears, core compression, and fabric fading).
  • Baby Dining Chairs: 2-year warranty (covers harness breakage, leg instability, and tray cracks).
  • Baby Bed Decorations: 1-year warranty (covers fabric fraying, decal peeling, and stitching errors).

To claim warranty service, email us with your order number, photos of the defect, and a description of when the problem started—we resolve claims within 3 business days.

Q7: Do you ship to all U.S. states? What are the shipping costs?


A: Yes—frankwilliams Store ships to all 50 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, and U.S. territories:

  • Standard Shipping: Free on all orders over $100 (for mainland U.S.). For orders under $100, shipping fees are $4.99 (decorations), $9.99 (mattresses), $14.99 (dining chairs), and $29.99 (cribs).
  • Express Shipping: $39.99 flat fee (delivered in 2–3 business days for mainland U.S.).
  • Alaska/Hawaii & Territories: A $35 surcharge applies to all shipments—delivery takes 7–14 business days.
